Indoors Doubles Championships
We are excited to announce that for the 1st time ever the Ancaster Tennis Club will be hosting its ATC: Indoors Mens & Womens Doubles Championships.
Due to these Championships and the OTA Sanctioned Provincial Junior Tournament, we will be hosting there will be limited court time available for booking during the week of April 20th to 26th.
Everyone will start in the Main Draw and depending on the result of their first match they will either remain in the Main Draw or be moved into the Consolation Draw. Each team is guaranteed 2 matches.
Match Formats:
Up to and including the Quarter Finals: (6 or 8 game pro-sets with no-ad scoring, Tie Break at 5-5 or 7-7)
Semi Finals and Finals: Best 2 out of 3 Sets (no-ad scoring, at 1 Set-all a Tie Break to 10 will be played to decide the match)
IMPORTANT DATES:
Entries Open: Friday, March 27th 2026
Entries Close: Friday, April 10th 2026 (No Exceptions)
Draws Released by: Monday, April 13th 2026
Cost: $15+HST (covers balls, courts and finals day festivities)
You could play up to 2 matches in 1 day in the preliminary rounds leading up to the semi-finals.
Tournament matches MAY be scheduled at the following days and times for Men and Women respectively so you must be available to play:
Monday: 6 p.m. onwards (Mens Doubles Only, No Viewing)
Tuesday: 6 p.m. onwards (Womens Doubles Only, No Viewing)
Wednesday: 6 p.m. onwards (Mens Doubles Only, No Viewing)
Thursday: 8 p.m. onwards (Mens and Womens Doubles, No Viewing)
Friday: 8:30 p.m. onwards (Mens and Womens Doubles, No Viewing)
Saturday: Between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. (Mens and Womens Doubles, No Viewing)
Sunday: Mens and Womens Finals at 2 p.m. (There will be viewing and festivities on Court 2)

Courts Closing for maintenance
September 28, 2025 marks the end of our Summer. During this break in play we will be erecting the dome and repainting the damaged portions of the courts. Check back for an official club reopening date.

Friends, tennis & fun! This is an RSVP event, so please log into the member portal and reserve your spot as soon as possible.
Men's & Women's Doubles Tournament
TOURNAMENT EVENTS:
Mens Doubles and Womens Doubles. (Draws will be divided by Levels for example A, B, C if enough entries are received.)
You can request a specific Level of Draw; however, you may be assigned a different draw if the request is not deemed appropriate.
You may only enter and play 1 Draw.
TOURNAMENT DATES:
July 18th to 20th 2025
Finals Day: July 20th 2025
Raindate for Finals Day: July 27th 2025
TOURNAMENT FORMAT:
To participate in the Championships, you must be available on Friday Evening 6 p.m. Onwards AND Saturday and Sunday 8:30 a.m. onwards.
You might only compete on either Friday or Saturday or BOTH depending on your draw.
SUNDAY is finals day so teams will only compete on this day if we get rained out on one of the earlier days or if they qualify from their pool for the finals.
Teams will be divided into pools of 3 or 4 and will play a minimum of 2 matches.
As we do not limit the number of entries into our Club Championships, the match format and length will be finalized once the total number of entries are received, and the groups are compiled.
COST TO ENTER:

WHO CAN ENTER:
Adult MEMBERS only. (Juniors 16 and over if approved by Moose)
You MUST sign-up WITH a partner.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
You may be playing only on 1 of or all the 3 days.
There is no guarantee that I can accommodate any requests for match times.
If your entry is conditional upon being able to play at a particular time, please state this in the NOTES section at the time of entry. If we CANNOT accommodate this request, we will not enter you in the tournament and will inform you.
There can be delays due to a high number of entries or the weather which may mean you will have to wait more than a few hours to play or between matches on any day.
We will try to avoid these delays to the best of our ability.
Balls/Prizes will be supplied by us.

Login to your Member Portal.
Click Register for Doubles Tournament.
Enter your and your partner’s rating to the best of your knowledge or what you were rated by us.
Enter partner’s name in where it says Player 2 Name.
Select Mens Doubles/Womens Doubles where it says Choose Tournament.
Click Submit Application.
Only 1 player from each team needs to enter, just make sure you define your partner’s name in the Player 2 section.

Wimbledon Strawberry Social
Our Wimbledon Strawberry Social is this coming Sunday, July 6th, from 9am-noon.
There will be strawberries and cream, and the Wimbledon tennis on the TV.
We will also have tennis on court for the adults, so dress up in your favorite Wimbledon whites, or the tradition Wimbledon colours of purple and green!
This is a free, RSVP event, for members only. You can do so by:
