Trails Cafe Ancaster (https://trailscafe.ca/ ) will be providing us with a delicious selection of pastries and cheese. 2. 15 mins warm-up, followed by play TILL 3 mins to the hour. If the score in games is tied at 3 mins to the hour (first buzzer) then finish the game in progress with No-Ad Scoring.
3. If the score is not tied in games at 3 mins to the hour, then END the match at 3 mins to the hour as it stands and record the score.
The Semi-Finals and Finals will be:
1. Best 2 out of 3 sets with a standard 7-point tiebreak at 6-6 in each of the 1st 2 sets.

THE PLAYER'S RESPONSIBILITY:
1. YOU must schedule, book the court, and play your matches within the Deadlines provided on the draw sheets. Failure to do so will result in a Default of one or both players/teams.
2. Your tournament matches take precedence over regular bookings, so if you are available for a regular hit, you are available for a match.
3. If there is any point in the Summer where you are away for over a week in a row, my recommendation is DO NOTto sign-up for the tournament as you will certainly miss a deadline to play a match.
4. Both players or teams must bring NEW Balls for each match. Open 1 can and when the match ends the winner will get the unopened can of balls while the loser will get the used balls.
5. The WINNER is responsible for reporting the score to coordinatoratc@outlook.com within 48 HOURS of the match being complete.
6. ATC: The Greatest Day 2026, when all the finals are showcased will be on Saturday, September 12th with Sunday, September 13th as the rain date. If you are not available on any of these dates, please DO NOT sign-up for the Championships as it is our biggest event of the year. All our members look forward to attending ALL the finals.
SPORTSPERSONSHIP:
I must stress that the purpose of this Tournament is to engage in Friendly Competition. No display of Unsportsmanlike Conduct will be tolerated and will result in an immediate default(loss). We must remember that Tennis is a Sport and a Game first especially here at the Ancaster Tennis Club and any challenge on a Tennis Court is JUST a challenge ON the tennis court and nothing more. So, let's enjoy this sport that we love so much and more importantly meet new people and make new friends!
If you have any questions, feel free to reply to this email and we will be happy to help you out.
Thanks so much and we look forward to seeing all our amazing members competing on the courts.

Annual Summer BBQ
It's officially time to circle your calendar.
Rain or shine, we're firing up the grill! (And after the weather had other plans for our last event... we're really hoping for the shine part.)
This isn't your average club BBQ.
Chef Matt Beasley will be on the ATC Patio!
Forget burnt hot dogs and mystery burgers. This time, the only smoke in the air will be coming from the grill as our Chef for the evening serves up fresh street-style tacos and Mexican street corn, along with salad, dessert and drinks.
Then grab your racquet, hit the courts for some fun social tennis, or relax on the patio with friends, good food, and plenty of laughs.
As if that wasn't enough, your ticket also includes FIVE raffle tickets, giving you five chances to win one of several great prizes throughout the evening.
Event Details
Price: $20 per person (non-refundable)
Includes 2 tacos, salad, Mexican street corn, 1 drink (non-alcoholic), peach cheesecake
Alcoholic drinks and raffle tickets will be sold
Limited spots available

Evaluation Day
You are invited to be evaluated for your tennis skill level. If you think you might be interested in registering for any of our Learn & Practice programs or Leagues, you will need to be evaluate by our Pro.
If you have already been assessed at 2.0 or higher, you do not need to be assessed again.
Evaluations are only available a few times a year.
We have our F.A.S.T program for beginners which you do not need an evaluation for. However, any other program you need to be at 2.0 or higher to register.
Evaluations are for any adults, seniors, and intermediate players.
Adult players joining any 2.0+ programs must be evaluated by a pro. You will be asked to either hit with the Pro or another member.
